Queer Massage Therapy

Massage Treatments

When I look for a massage, I look for a feeling of safety, someone who will listen to me, and ideally a place where I won’t be misgendered and subject to queer and transphobia. My hope as a trans and queer massage therapist is to offer this space to others. A private and affirming space where you will actually be listened to and supported in feeling as comfortable, safe and at ease as possible.

I offer a range of massage and bodywork options for all genders and sexualities; whether you’re needing time to recharge and relax, have specific aches and pains you’d like relief from, are preparing for or recovering from surgery or looking for support with scars.

For those looking for work around the pelvic floor, genitals, or support around sexuality and pleasure in general, I also offer sexological bodywork and sex coaching.

  • Do you have tight or painful areas in and around your neck, back or shoulders because of sitting behind a computer all day, wearing a binder, chest surgery, or just life stress? Then you’re in the right place.

Known for being powerful but also gentle, I work with a variety of techniques to restore ease to your tired, tense neck, back and shoulders.

  • When you are experiencing chronic tension, discomfort or know you need a bit more sensation to relax, this is a good option for you.

Deep tissue massage uses slower and firmer strokes which target the deeper layers of muscles and fascia. I draw on multiple techniques including triggerpoint massage, fascial release and (optional) cupping to support releasing knots, tension and restore greater ease and freedom of movement in your body.

  • Scar tissue treatment can support physical and emotional healing around scar tissue on the body and is also available for chest, genital or anal regions. It can have powerful cosmetic results as well as functional results including increased mobility, reduced pain, discomfort and numbness related to scar tissue.

  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a very gentle massage that supports lymphatic flow reducing swelling. MLD is ideal and recommended as both a pre-operative and post-operative treatment that reduces swelling, pain and support the body’s natural healing systems.

  • Queer rest is resistance. We need time to release tension, to calm the nervous system, to experience a moment of rest.

The relaxation massage is typically a full body massage done with warm oil on a gently heated table. Using a variety of techniques including holistic pulsing, hot stones, Swedish massage and Lomi Lomi, this massage is tailored to you and supports you in gently connecting with your body, releasing muscular tension and enjoying the pleasure of rest.

  • This massage will be tailored to you and makes use of hot stones to bring deep warmth and release into your muscles. Often combined with techniques from Swedish, Deep tissue and Lomi Lomi as needed.

  • Lomi Lomi is a luxurious feeling therapeutic healing massage that originates in Hawaii and combines an intention setting ritual, blessing and full body massage. Like waves of the ocean, the long flowing strokes of Lomi Lomi will help mind and body to let go and rest. The massage supports release of physical, emotional and energetic blockages helping restore balance and make space for new things in your being and life. Additionally it will stimulate your circulation, reduce muscular stress and improve the flow of lymph in the body.

  • A massage hat helps you rest and relax. You can choose between a side lying massage or enjoy the chance to lie on your belly again with the special massage table that has removable supports for belly and/or chest.

FAQ & Important to know

  • First and foremost, it’s useful for you to be comfortable. For relaxing, deep tissue and Lomi Hapai massages, many people prefer to keep their undergarments on.

It helps if you wear undergarments which can be worked around - not extra tight or bulky.

Due to the long flowing strokes of a Lomi Lomi massage, during the Lomi Lomi it is most common to be nude with a sheet or sarong covering your pelvis.
